I feel the need to say that that is a dated picture of me, I have very short hair now, but I needed a good pupper pic. Since I’ve been interning for over four months, I thought I’d introduce myself. My name is Danielle, and the dog in picture’s name is Jack. He is a handsome yellow Lab, and the picture above of me snuggling with him is a rare occurrence. Usually, when I attempt this, I get immediately rejected. He runs from my love but I still love him and try to snuggle him anyway. I also have pictures of his mother, who passed in 2016. 

This is Jack’s sweet mother, Jill. Jill was a sweet, anxiety-ridden dog who was also called “The Squint” because she squinted when she got in trouble, which was quite often because she rooted through the trash frequently. At one point my dad had over twenty pounds of homemade trail mix in the front of the house and Jill ate a quarter of it. I love labs, but I also love Corgis and Pomeranians a lot too along with dogs in general. Also, there are wonderful Poodles in my life.

The Poodle on the left is my grandma’s dog, which makes her my dog aunt. She is very sweet and loves giving kisses. She also enjoys stealing rubber balls from Jack but hates being away from my grandmother for longer than ninety seconds. The Poodle on the right is Phoenix, my sister’s dog, which makes him my dog nephew. She recently adopted him, and he is similar to Abby. He can’t stand it when my sister is gone and is also very mouthy. I have only seen him once but will be seeing him again in the near future. I love all our family dogs and writing about dogs. Since I have been here for a few months, I want to direct the viewers to some of my notable works.

Alaskan Malamutes are an underrated breed and the world should know it, and you should know it. They aren’t the only underrated breed, there are lots of cute dog breeds that you won’t see in commercials or walking down the street every day.

Alternative Names for Pomeranians

I love Pomeranians so much, so I wrote a list of terms of endearment for the breed. Pomeranians are just so cute so I couldn’t resist writing about them. I may get one someday if I don’t get a Corgi or Lab.
