Getting bored at home? Try playing a classic kid’s game with a twist by inviting your dog to join in. Hide-and-Seek can be played with as many people or dogs as you’d like, and you can structure it however you desire, but we here at #BullyFamBam would like to give you our secret weapon- all the best hiding spots. Of course, these were designed to make life a little easier for your pooch. If your dog is an expert seeker, feel free to amp up the stakes and get a little more adventurous. If not, stick to these places to keep the game rolling. And remember to bring a few treats along with you to keep the motivation high!

And here, ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, are our top 10 dog friendly hiding spots:

  1. Under the covers

Make sure you wiggle a little bit to really give yourself away.

2. Behind the refrigerator door

Feel free to treat yourself to a snack while you’re at it!

3. Under the kitchen table or desk

We sincerely hope you’re flexible for this one. Between the couch cushions

4. Under their dog bed

(If it’s clean enough, that is!)

5. In the shower stall

Maybe let other family members know if you’re going to be hanging out in the bathroom for a while. You don’t need anyone walking in and using it while you’re hiding.

6. Behind the coffee table

Try brewing a coffee while you’re at it. There’s nothing like caffeine to raise the energy.

7. In the coat closet

Definitely leave the door open for this one, otherwise you’ve got an unfair advantage.

8. Behind the couch or sofa

Make sure you jump out and give a scare if they’re trying to take a nap instead.

9. In their crate

Once again, flexibility is key here. Seriously, best of luck.

10. Between the couch cushions

This time, make sure you don’t fall asleep. Revert back to making coffee here.

And if you do not feel like hiding, you can always just hide the treat! Grab a treat and a paper towel and head to an open part of the house. Once there, lay down the treat and cover it up. Your dog will have a blast following your “nudges” in the right direction until they uncover their prize. And, as a bonus, you’ll have a blast too. It’s just a little something to keep you and your dog busy, and maybe squeeze in a few laughs. You deserve it. Let us know if you have any suggestions of excellent hiding spots too- we’d love to hear them!
