Hope everyone is doing well! May the warm weather and the sunny days bring you some happy days!
Besides, the warm weather, I hope that you’re doggo’s are bringing you all some happy days too. As we all are finally seeing an end to the almost two-year-long pandemic, we all can use every boost of happiness that we can find. If it’s from finally seeing your friends for the first time in who knows how long, seeing a movie in a theater, seeing family members, etc.
But, I imagine getting out with your dog, and enjoying the weather is the best. Did you know that there are actual health benefits to owning dogs? It’s amazing how much these wonders can provide in our lives. So, I thought I would share some of those benefits with you all. I found a lot so I might do another list at a later date.
Something that took me by surprise was the fact that there are health benefits to owning dogs. I thought that since a bunch of people could be allergic to dogs, there would be any in that aspect. But, owning a dog can get your body used to a lot of different forms of bacteria. This in turn helps you to unknowingly build up a barrier (not all lol) to a bunch of germs. Also, they can help your kids battle off some illnesses too. So thank your dog for how messy, dirty, and stinky they probably get daily lol.
Keeping along the lines of illness, if you are a sufferer of allergies, they can even help you with them too. But, this occurs if you are raised with dogs in your household. I saw that they can even help with common allergies that people may get or even asthma.
Lastly, when it comes to the lines of health, dogs are great for matters that relate to stress, and the certain health risks that associates with stress. Just petting your dogs bring your stress levels down a lot. That in turn lowers blood pressure and helps to keep your heart healthier.
